Years ago a great super villain struck fear into the hearts of the people, seemingly unstoppable as many a hero tried and failed to bring him to justice. Eventually, however, he vanished. Died, most figured. Retired, as those in the know were aware.

My character is his daughter. She decided she wanted to be just like daddy when she grew up. So she’s a new villain on the rise, declaring she’s going to take over the world and what not, and she’s smart, she’s powerful, but...can’t quite pull off being as scary as her dad, she actually seems to have gone out of her way not to kill people so far. And while she may manage to seem somewhat intimidating to civilians, most of the world’s superheroes aren’t particularly concerned.

Your character would be the hero that has to deal with her. Is he frustrated he doesn’t get a more terrifying would-be nemesis to show what he can really do? Is he perhaps a bit more concerned with how distracted he gets by her figure? Maybe he thinks he can bring her to the light or what have you.

Notes

This is an old and very basic idea, really. Any questions, feel free to ask... I wrote this pretty quickly to just put it up, I might try to do better another time. But honestly I haven't thought of much so I may not have an answer beyond "that's for us both to work out". xD

It's also one of my more lighthearted ones, but I would be cool with playing it on the fun side while also getting into serious threats and sober scenes and all.

Might prefer to start off with them having met already, but could do their first meeting if you really want.

One thought I had I quite liked was having the two know each other outside costume, as friends was what came to mind, but something else would also work.

Could play with multiple characters, sidekicks and henchmen, other villains and heroes.
