The Queen prepares to take her final rest, and tension consumes the fae as darkness looms ahead yet the people stand divided, split in their opinions on which of the two Princes should take the throne.
It has long been known, as prophecy goes, that a human girl of rare gifts would be the next queen and only so would they get through the challenges ahead. Now she is born and grown, and the Queen can finally see a way to settle her children’s dispute and step off the throne she would have given up years ago were she not afraid for the division and possibly war that would have followed.
It is simple. As this girl is to be Queen, then whomever she chooses to pledge herself to shall be King. Supporters from both sides seemed content with this decision and vows were made to honor it. Now, it was up to the contenders.

This is a pretty basic idea, as you may notice everything rather vague.
Obviously a love triangle, but how it’s played is open. You want to make one guy the obvious choice (OOC at least, no fun if it’s obvious IC)? That’s cool with me. Want to make them both cool? Cool cool cool! :3 Wanna eventually go with a “harem” ending? I am the complete opposite of complaining.
What is this threat? We’ll also have to work that out.
Before that comes into play would obviously also want conflict beyond their relationship though.
Even setting is rather open. Is it a different worlds sort of thing, your average human world and separately one with magic and the fae? Same world, just different lands? In which case how common is magic to humans, how much do they interact, etc…
